On July 9, 2026, fans gathered at New York City's iconic Cutting Room to celebrate what would have been AC/DC legend Bon Scott's 80th birthday. Hosted by radio personality Terrie Carr, the Third Annual Official Bon Scott Birthday Bash marked the latest chapter in an event that has grown steadily each year—from its inaugural gathering at Arlene's Grocery in 2024, to The Bowery Electric in 2025, and now its largest and most ambitious celebration to date.

Officially sanctioned by the Bon Scott Estate and attended by members of Bon's extended family, the packed event featured an all-star lineup of performers, heartfelt video tributes from rock icons including Rob Halford, Joe Elliott, Justin Hawkins, and many others, along with a special written message from AC/DC's Angus Young. Metal Mayhem ROC was honored to be on hand to document what has become the premier annual celebration of Bon Scott's life, music, and enduring legacy.

Guests were immersed in Bon Scott's legacy beyond the music. The venue featured an exclusive collection of officially licensed Bon Scott Estate merchandise, including commemorative apparel, scarves, and collectibles. Fans were also welcomed by a display of rare Bon Scott photographs, offering a unique glimpse into the life and career of the legendary frontman. Combined with the presence of Bon's family, the outstanding musical performances, and heartfelt tributes throughout the evening, the celebration became much more than a concert—it was a gathering of friends, musicians, and fans united in honoring one of hard rock's most influential voices.
